Online Education Project
The Online Education Project (OEP) was created to improve campus capacity for excellence in teaching and learning within fully online or hybrid course environments. Funded by the student technology fee, this project will result in a support infrastructure for high quality course development, best practices in fully online and hybrid course instruction, and successful learning practices for students in fully online and hybrid courses. The outcomes of courses supported in this project will provide opportunities for students to become successful online learners, to experience additional offerings of fully online courses during summer and winter semesters, and to benefit from increased offerings in courses they need for graduation, thus reducing the period of time required to complete their degrees.
Each year, the OEP will issue an RFP for proposals outlining projects that will develop courses meeting these objectives. The RFP will be issued in July of each year, with proposals due and funded in early Fall.
